Woke up this morning and hubby came to the bathroom to show me the greens. Yes, that means we're having spinach smoothie. It was great we managed to finish up the spinach in the fridge and the bananas. We had to let go of 1 avocado though :(
Went to work right before 9am and I noticed that I do not look forward anything at work at all. Most of the day I was basically looking around for which camera I should buy. I happened to come across to a few of the great digital camera tips blog websites and I got so motivated.
Since I was actually thinking of using hubby's camera to take photos, I have a lot of work cut out for me don't I? Here's a shot of our dinner last night.
It's sheesh kabab and asparagus, Quite delicious. OK, back to my day. I got a call from the clinic too and told me that they've got my ultrasound result and I'll need to go back to the doctor for the follow up. So I will be going there tomorrow morning. As usual, am worry but I am just going to leave it in God's hands.
In the cab ride coming back home this evening, I realised that I need to take control of my life and do what is right for health. That is both physically and mentally.
I feel like I have no more friends and no one really even to talk to. Hubby was really sweet and agreed with me that I will definitely need a break.

A short hair cut a bald patch :(
I am not at work today which makes me feel really good and relax. I have been thinking last few days really seriously that I need to so something really soon before it gets out of hand. Which is my job. I seriously think it is effecting me physically and physiologically. Yesterday I got myself a hair cut and a colour touch up after leaving work at 4 in the afternoon. The doctor gave me 2 days medical certificate and why not I make use of it right?
Quickly of cuz I made arrangements with Aud to meet up as this is such a rare chance for us to meet and hang out. She came to my hair salon and we chatted. That was when my hair dresser said you've got a "hole" in your head!!!! I was like WHAT???? Then I realised what she meant was a bald patch. :( I got so scared and shocked for the rest of the evening. By the way I had my hair chopped really short and I liked it but I wasn't able to feel happy 100% as my bald patch was bothering me. Sigh. Is this another sign of stress???
Well, I want to do something from home. I cannot live totally without a job without an income surely. So what can I do? Anyhoo, here are the pictures which I have been promising you lot for many many months. Enjoy.
Firstly of cuz a start with Tinki.
A view from the house.
Tinki sprawl
Dinner set and new table cloth
With me in the shot
Spinach, banana, milk and blue berry smoothie

Nice rainy day
Good morning, it was lovely whenever you wake up and the weather is nice and cold with rain outside the window. It's amazing how one change as she gets older or rather wiser ha ha. I remember how much I hated rain when I was younger probably even till a few years back but since last year I started loving the rain. Flood or no flood :)
Nothing exciting happened yesterday just that I hated that I had to go back to office which made me spent 15 bucks for a taxi fare to come back home. I have been stationing at the client place and I like it because it is close to my house ha ha. Well life seems unfair in some ways. Not always but yes in some ways.
Hubby tried to take Tinker Bell down so she'll enjoy the grass and walking around and ended up with some bad scratches. She doesn't quite like to see others of her kind apparently. There were 3 other stray cats and she went mad. Not sure if I have mentioned before, she's quite feisty and bossy and next month she'll be due for her vaccine and I just hope and pray that she will behave.
So, what is this about Octopus predicting for world cup? I was quite confused when I saw a few friends mentioning wanting to ask for lotto number from octopus. So this is what's going on. Anyways, if you haven't heard, just google it and you'll know what I'm talking about. There's this line which cracks me up.
"Not everyone is a fan of Paul, however. After Argentina lost to Germany in the quarter-final, Argentines threatened to kill the octopus and put him in a paella" - (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jul/08/soccer-octopus-world-cup-final)
So, anyone keen on coming for a world cup match at our place with yummy food????

Drama at work and Massage on a Saturday Morning
Yesterday evening was not so great at work. A tad drama full at work. Well, I don't think I need to go into so much detail about my work because I am sure anyone can understand. Last night I was so tired when I got home that I just dropped everything and had a can of Tiger and waited for hubby to be back. Hubby came back drenched because he was caught in the rain and we had instant noddles for dinner as we were just too tired to go out or make something to eat.
Lunch was at Aroy Thai at Funan as a company Chinese new year lunch.
Believe it or not, we slept before 11 last night. This morning we got up around 8 45. First thing, we hit the gym and I did some of my upper body core work out. However, it was only for half an hour and I couldn't resist but to go and run for at least 10 minutes :) and I was pleasant surprised that I can now run for 1.4 K in 10 minutes.
Then I went to get my massage done and it was really nice. Of cuz she was having a hard time trying to get the knots from my back to smooth out.
I found this on the web about massage benefits
"http://spas.about.com/od/massa2/a/massagebenefits.htm"
Some pictures of Putu lying comfy on the floor cushion.

Happy New Year!!!! Day 1 of Year 2010
I am so exhausted. I know it is not a great way to start the year feeling so tired and miserable. Tired because I was fasting whole day and had the first meal at 9:00 pm and also had two glasses of champagne after midnight without much food. Do you think it stopped there? No, it didn't husband's cousins and brother still wanted to party and had to go with them even though I was so tired and all I wanted to do was to go home and sleep. So finally we got home around 4ish in the morning and slept till around 8 and got up around 10:30. The reason being having to check the phone messages and Tinki biting me. May be she was feeling hungry and we were still sleeping.
Anyhoo, so that was basically how my new year's eve night went. I was really tired and didn't even want to go to husband's Aunt place but was somewhat been told that it would be rude not to. Mom was so lovely she came along and sat the whole evening even though not many people were making conversation with her. Dad was being kidnapped by my cousin and spent the new year with my cousin and friends and came home only around 2pm.
I received this note in my email from my 90 years old Grand mother and I just thought I'd share this with you.

Those little annoying things.
I forgot to mention what happened at dinner time yesterday evening. We went to Vivo for dinner as it was a Thursday and I was somewhat craving for the food court stall food. As we waited for the server to come back out to the counter so he could serve us another guy came beside us and kept yelling out for the server. I got a tad annoyed with him but didn't say anything. Then finally the guy came out and this other guy who was standing beside us just somewhat grabbed him and starting talk to him and gave him the money. Hubby got so annoyed (yes, we were starving people and not very in good mood) and told him that there was a line/queue and this other guy kept staring at hubby as though he wanted to start a fight. Then he told hubby that yes, I know what a line is and ya da ya da and then suddenly he said, I am only paying. Yes, I know this does not sound like it is a such a big thing BUT trust me the attitude that guy was giving to us was as though he just going to start punching hubby. Sigh, people, why can't you just say even before that sorry, I am just here to pay the money. So no one would have any misunderstanding and cause all this hatred. This is another thing which I notice with people over here. Its like its such a bad thing to talk to other person especially a stranger. They would just give you this "Wanna fight" stare.
OH btw, this is what I am having right now in office:)

Do you...
Do you ever feel like your whole back is in pain and that you didn't feel like you really fall asleep when you wake up in the morning? Sometimes, I feel that way. I need more rest! yes.
Last night, hubby bought dinner back. I was thinking of cooking but I know his tummy is still not 100% so I told him to buy something back.
Then we watched .45. We didn't quite like it. Anyways. That's much about it.
We woke up quite early today so we both got in to work quiet early. Quite nice.
Another update later tonight.

Woah! another day with a ton of things lining up
Yesterday evening turned out to be a nice one unexpectedly. Hubby and I went to Ikea to find out about the kitchen ideas and cam back home around 6. That was after watching The Mist, another of Stephen King's novel. It was somewhat predictable and just a so so movie. However, good entertainment.
Hubby also got a call from his school friend to meet up for dinner for a few times and finally we met up yesterday. We took them to Inle (a Burmese restaurant) and it was a hit! I am someone who is not very keen on suggesting or proposing of what to eat or where to eat. Except to my hubby. I find that everyone has their own individual likes and dislikes and how can I know one would like what I like.
Anyhoo, we got back around 10:20 and decided that we would not go to the gym so ended up watching tele till mid night.
So we didn't go to they gym today and here I am now at work with a pile of things to take care of.
Today's note : Always think positive for your own happiness.

I love rain now
I seemed to have changed. Yes, I love rain now. It was such a lovely weather. It rained whole day and stopped in the evening which leaves the whole evening feeling cool. We were supposed to go to Orchard Hotel to pick up a package my MIL has sent for me but it was late by the time I got off work so we didn't go. Hubby was offering if he should pick up dinner on the way back and I thought of making something at home in stead of buying the same thing to eat every time. Don't get me wrong, its not expensive to buy food in Singapore and not many people in Singapore really cook. I always have this idea that most Singaporean spent so much money on their kitchens and keep them spotless by NOT cooking at all at home! What a waste.
Oh and we have decided to give Tinki a whole can of Burp for her dinner now. We used to give her half a tin of burp with some Science Diet dry food but she seemed not full lately. So hubby gave her a tin last night and she seems pretty satisfied with it because I got home and saw her BIG tummy :)
I got home around 7 and thought we would watch Tomb Raider on telle but hubby found out that there was a match between India and Australia and we diverted our attentions to Neo Sports (its cricket channel). Sadly, India lost this time :(
While watching Cricket I made us dinner. It was Tuna melt open sandwich with grilled baby asparagus. It was DELICIOUS!! I had 2 pieces of it and hubby had 4!!!! 2 with cheese and 2 without. Yes, i'm definitely making those again in near future.
Around 8:45 we thought we might as well go and pick up the parcel and we did. As a result! I got new clothes, woo hooo... I got my very first Salwar Kameez! I promise I will take pictures and a few more tops and a dress. They all fit me well!
I also received my Upper Room from Pwa Pwa in the post. It is a daily messages with bible notes.
Today's note: Appreciate every little thing around you.

Bags and Women
Have you ever felt you can't choose what you like that you have to rely on other's opinions? Well I am that sort of girl that I can never make a decision on my own and sometimes I feel so frustrated that I don't even know what I like. As a result I always end up with gifts from others and I am quite happy with what I get.
I don't think there is any woman in the world who does not have/own a handbag/purse/shoulder bag. As for me, I like big should bags. Reason being, as simple as I can throw nearly everything in. However, lately I have been having a bit of dilemmas and will get to them later.
OK, first stop my MIL's gift for my birthday last year.
I really like this one and I have been using this like 95% of the 2008 and 2009. Then I got another one from my MIL for this year's belated birthday gift last month and the material is really light.
Isn't it gorgeous? Yes, Its BIG and lots of pockets. I could even fit my laptop in it. How wonderful is that? Here comes the sad news. Its really heavy :(. So that's my first dilemma. Are all big bags good? Hhhhmmm I am sure they are as long as they're light. Wouldn't you think so?
Ok, next stop. My best friend Aud gave me this cutie as my birthday gift this year. She's a darling. She knows what I need and when to give. She'a good timer!!! (sounds not right, but you know what I mean!
And guess what? I know you must be thinking how unfashionable I am. I have been using this bag to work!! Ha! yes, I commute to work nearly an hour every day on buses and trains and if I have a laptop bag and another bag with the equivalent weight of my laptop bag I think my I will have droopy shoulders in no time.
Last stop, this is my most expensive little bag that I ever bought for myself. Its Anteprema and it has this gorgeous blood red color. Its a tiny bag again but this is my party/function bag. I got this from a friend's wife when she was clearing out her branded bags and I bought this for 100 SGD.

Happy Farm
Hubby said I'm addicted to this. For those who does not know what it is. Its a game on FaceBook about farming. Its really cute game. You get to plant vegetables and flowers. Take care of them and sell them and you get go up levels which allows you to expand your farm area. It sounds like a kiddy game may be it is but its a fun game.
Did I tell you? My zen seems to be died :( but I'm sure Hubby will revive it again. Wednesday and Thursday we took a break from working out. I am not sure why but I'm feeling a tad lethargic today. May be its a time of the month + Friday syndrome.
I did manage to do my Upper body today. Also a friend of ours was in the gym. He's rather a small frame guy so I believe he's planning on training to bulk himself up. He was asking for training tips and we did give him. He also has Jit as his training partner and I'm sure Jit is also giving him tips. Like I said, I don't normally offer tips to others unless they asked.
It's been nearly 2 months since we've started back training but I am still not very happy with my diets.
Monday is holiday so we'll have a long weekend ahead.
Here are the tasks I plan to do over this 3 days weekend.
1. Clean house
2. Laundry
3. Fix Zen
4. Arrange and update the music in Zen
5. Clean up my laptop
6. Cook for Leena and Sandeep for Saturday dinner.
7. Plan for food/exercise for the week.
8. Send Tinki for her vax
etc....
